The card fee applies to the following:
holidays when paid wholly or partly using a credit card. Your payment will be processed by TUI International Holiday (Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.). Your Statement will show MHHOLIDAYS TUI MY.
Simply put, it is a fee imposed when a merchant (bank) in one country (for example, the US) accepts payment from a customer whose card is issued by another country (e.g., the United Kingdom).
While these fees are sometimes referred to as "international service assessments," they are usually listed on your bills as a "cross-border fee" or a "foreign transaction fee." Credit card fees may apply for any international transactions.
